This project widened Golden Triangle from a two-lane road to a divided four-lane road between I-35W and US377. The Union Pacific Railroad crossing west of US377 was also widened to accommodate four lanes. In addition to the widenings, a new traffic signal was added to Golden Triangle at Alta Vista Boulevard.
