**Inclement weather update**
On Thursday, January 9, 2025, Justice Court 6 will be closed to the public due to inclement weather. Staff will be working remotely to answer phone calls and emails. Please call or email for assistance.
Eviction settings that were scheduled for Friday, January 10, 2025 at 9 a.m. have been rescheduled to Monday, January 13, 2025 at 9 a.m.
Settings scheduled for Friday, January 10, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. will be rescheduled and an official notice will be mailed or emailed.
Youth Diversion Program
Juveniles who have been charged with a non-traffic offense on or after January 1, 2025, may qualify to take part in a youth diversion program. This program gives an opportunity for juvenile offenders to resolve a citation without being charged in court. Chapter 45 Subchapter E in Texas Code of Criminal Procedure
If your child has been charged with a non-traffic offense, you may call the court to schedule an appearance to discuss diversion eligibilities and options with the judge.

Inclement weather: Justice Court 6 will monitor any severe weather alerts and will notify parties scheduled on the docket as needed. You may also call the office to confirm closures or delays.

1. Use eFile Guide and File to file new cases for Small Claim, Eviction, and Repair and Remedy. You will be guided step-by-step and answer a series of questions to create your petition to file online.
2. Use eFile Texas to file new cases and add additional documents to existing Small Claim, Eviction, Debt Claim, along with other types of cases. This service does not provide a step-by-step guide as eFile Guide and File. Documents have to be scanned into the program before filing.
