Alarm Permit
Please contact your local Police Department for your alarm permit needs. Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office only services unincorporated areas that are not within the limits of a city, town, or other governed community.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING THE APPLICATION
- Print clearly or type.
- The permit holder must be an individual. Include company name under Business Name.
- Include apartment numbers, complete zip codes and telephone area codes.
- Please include local contact names if any issues occur and you are not reachable.
- Mail the completed form to the above address with $25 check or money order payable to: Tarrant County Sheriff's Office.
After the application and fee has been processed, a copy of your application with your permit number will be mailed to you. It is the permit holder's responsibility to provide the permit number to their alarm and/or monitoring company.
FALSE ALARM FEES
Commissioners Court Order establishes the fees for false alarms in unincorporated Tarrant County. Fees must be paid before a permit can be issued or renewed.
