This project will relocate part of FM156 to allow for the extension of runways at Fort Worth Alliance Airport. The relocation project entails the construction of 4.5 miles of FM156 from downtown Haslet to the existing FM156 and SH114 interchange. This relocation will result in regional capacity and intersection improvement, congestion mitigation, air quality improvements, roadway safety improvements, and will preserve required right-of-way needed for future expansion of FM156 into a full 4-lane urban roadway.
