Grey McGown Collection
Summary: Donated three manuscripts and related correspondence concerning the history of the Fort Worth Boat Club. The donor is the son of a founding member of the sailing club. He also was highly involved in the activities of the club including serving as historian. Additional information can be found on the Fort Worth Boat Club McGown Family named collection page. - Great Developments Follow Small Beginnings, History of the Fort Worth Boat Club 1929-2000 by Bill Fairley. Author was commissioned to write a history of the club. This 223-page, unpublished manuscript was to have been used as part of the 75th anniversary of the club.
