SCOPE AND CONTENTS

The donor found two photographs, with no accompanying information, when purchasing the house at 2210 Stanley Avenue in Berkeley Place neighborhood, Fort Worth. The square monochromatic snapshot photographs, mounted on cardboard, have the remnants of pressure sensitive adhesive tape on the sides and black photograph album paper on the versos. One photograph has extensive surface damage on the front upper area and is missing portions of the emulsion and image. The images show an older woman with two children posing on the porch of a home. The current structure at this address was built in the mid 1940s and likely postdates the photographs, where the porch details and clothing styles indicate the photographs were taken during the range of the early 1900s to the 1920s.
