The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office Personnel Unit is supported by administrative employees divided into two sections. They are responsible for all administrative actions in support of over 1,400 employees of the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office.

The below Personnel staff are dedicated to correspondence between the Sheriff’s Office and Tarrant County Human Resources, as well as the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. They handle all paperwork involving hires, terminations, transfers and promotions. In addition, they manage all state licensing paperwork for law enforcement positions. They are also the contact for County issued identification badges.
