Melissa Lee is the Purchasing Agent for Tarrant County in Fort Worth, Texas. Melissa has been with Tarrant County since 1996. Melissa received her BS from Tuskegee University and has received her lifetime Certified Purchasing Manager and Accredited Purchasing Practitioner from the Institute for Supply Management.

Melissa has served as President of the National Procurement Institute and the Public Purchasing Association of North Central Texas. Melissa currently serves on the Texas Public Purchasing Association Board of Directors. She has served on the Board of Directors and chaired multiple committees for the National Procurement Institute, Texas County Purchasing Association, National Council for Public Procurement and Contracting Advisory Board and the Public Purchasing Association of North Central Texas for many years.
