Do I need to bring my summons if I printed out my email? Yes, you are required to bring your summons with you.  Please make sure you have completed the Juror Information Form at the bottom of the summons as well.  You will be turning that into the bailiff's in the courtroom.
I've misplaced my summons, what should I do? If you know the date you are to appear, report as summoned with your driver's license and a new form will be printed for you.  If you do not know the date, then contact the jury room at juryroom@tarrantcounty.com or call 817-884-3820. You will be prompted to input your juror number, after that message repeats three times, you will be given the option to transfer to an operator.  
What can I do if I have a legal reason to be excused but the date on the summons has passed? You still have to answer the summons to be in compliance with the law.  If you use the online system, the exemptions and disqualifications are part of the qualification questionnaire.  Or, you can always mail or fax the sworn affidavit form to us.  If you fax the form, make sure to include the front and back of the form.
What if I received a summons at my home from a former tenant? Do not use the online system.  Please write "return to sender - no longer at this address" on the outside of the summons and drop it back in the mail.  You do not have to put postage on the summons to return it.  Returning it to sender tells the postal service you are not accepting that document for the person listed on it. Once we receive that document back, we will update the  juror record as undelivered.    
What if the summons has been sent to someone who is deceased? Do not use the online system.  Please write "return to sender - deceased" on the outside of the summons and drop it back in the mail.  You do not have to put postage on the summons to return it.  Returning it to sender tells the postal service you are not accepting that document for the person listed on it. Once we receive that document back, we will update our juror record.  Then, the information will be forwarded to the Elections Department in order for them to make sure the voter registration has been cancelled.
