Records Request
The Domestic Relations Office does not disclose sensitive data or identifying information, including personal addresses, telephone numbers, places of employment, social security numbers, and the names of a child's day-care facility / school as it could jeopardize the health, safety, privacy, and liberty of a child or others.
Individuals seeking sensitive data including such identifying information or the responses of another receiving services from the Domestic Relations Office must seek and discover such from that person directly in accordance with applicable laws.
Discovery and request of Domestic Relations Office records that do not contain the identifying information of another or other sensitive data must be made by Court Order or Subpoena in compliance with the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and the Texas Family Code.
Records can be picked up in person by a party or attorney of the active case. Those receiving records from the Domestic Relations Office must present a government issued identification card such as a driver’s license, passport, or state bar card upon request. The Domestic Relations Office at its discretion may release documents electronically via encryption, secure email, or an alternatively secure manner to individuals with whom they are well familiar.

• A $25 fee will be assessed for each records request made regardless of the number of pages. Records request will be initiated after all fees are paid and can take up to five days to complete.
