Criminal Background Checks

You may obtain Felony Background checks on the third floor of the Tim Curry Justice Center located at 401 W. Belknap.  The hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.   Background checks obtained at the District Clerks office are $5 and cover criminal felony cases in Tarrant County only.  The information needed for a background check is a full name and a date of birth. 

Should you want copies out of a criminal case it is 50 cents per page and $1 per certified page.

The District Clerk’s office accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Money Orders, Cashier’s Check or Cash for payment
