Mediation Training
To become a mediator for Tarrant County Dispute Resolution, you must complete the 40-hour Basic Mediation Training through a trainer approved by the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable.
To mediate family cases for Tarrant County, you must also have successfully completed the 30-hour Advanced Family Mediation Training through a trainer approved by the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable.
There are numerous mediation training opportunities through individual trainers and other Dispute Resolution Centers throughout Texas. You can find approved trainers at the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable.
Tarrant County Dispute Resolution periodically provides trainings to qualified individuals throughout the year. If you would like to be considered to attend a training sponsored by Dispute Resolution, please complete the training application to be added to the wait list.
