Criteria for Participation

Specialty Programs > FAIP > Criteria for Participation
  1. Charged with felony DWI (two or more prior DWI convictions)
  2. 17 years of age or older
  3. Resident of Tarrant County
  4. No prior convictions, or pending cases, under Tex. Code Crim. Proc. 42.12 3g
  5. No intoxication assault convictions
  6. No prior involuntary or intoxication manslaughter convictions
  7. Must be a US citizen or a permanent resident
  8. Not currently on parole
  9. Not on community supervision in another jurisdiction
  10. Accepted by the FAIP team
