Tarrant County Precinct 2 Commissioner
Commissioner Alisa Simmons is the duly elected County Commissioner for Precinct 2 in Tarrant County. Among her responsibilities to the constituents of Precinct 2, Commissioner Simmons is responsible for approving the county budget and establishing the tax rate, including salary and benefits. She also works to provide and maintain all county facilities, in addition to keeping county roads and bridges in good condition.
Precinct Administration
The Administration Team manages the day-to-day operations of the Commissioner Precinct 2 office. The team schedules and supervises usage of subcourthouse community rooms; oversees building resources; interfaces with and resolves constituents' concerns; and plans and markets town halls and major community events. The team also collaborates with local, state, and federal agencies to research, develop, and plan public policy and prudently manage governmental practices.

Community Outreach
The community outreach team engages with constituents to understand the needs of the Precinct 2 community, disseminate information, and collect feedback to inform decision-making. The team develops programs, fosters community partnerships with local organizations, and advocates for community interests.
Communication Manager
Communications
The communications team manages public relations, community engagement, and external communications. The communications team handles media inquiries, crafts press releases, and manages social media. Additionally, the communications team produces reports and publications and maintains Precinct 2 branding and messaging.

Road and Bridge
The Development and Infrastructure team plans, develops, and maintains essential county infrastructure, including roads, public buildings, and waste management systems. The team oversees project management, ensures compliance with regulations, and manages public works and environmental services to ensure that all Precinct 2 infrastructure is safe to travel upon.
Intern
Gabrielle has a passion and commitment to serve through her resourcefulness. She executes accurately at a high level with organizational skills and problem-solving abilities. Through her organizational behavior and analysis, she helps track relevant items both internally and externally across the county that affect constituents and aids the Precinct 2 team wherever she can. In this role, she is offered practical experience in local government administrative strategy and contributes to the Commissioner Precinct 2 office overall efficiency and effectiveness.
