Regarding 2024 Tarrant County Elections

Tarrant County, Texas: The Office of Commissioner Alisa Simmons is excited to announce that early voting for the upcoming Joint General and Special Elections begins Monday, Oct. 21, 2024, and runs through Friday, Nov. 1, 2024. This is a vital opportunity for residents to participate in the democratic process and make their voices heard.

Early voting will take place at 51 designated polling locations across the county. Voters are encouraged to check their eligibility at Tarrant County Voter Lookup and find sample ballots, polling hours, and locations by visiting https://gisit.tarrantcounty.com/TCVL/.

In addition to casting your vote, we want you to be aware of our efforts to ensure a fair and transparent election process. Some of the ways we have worked to bolster election access and security are:

• Increased training of election clerks and judges so they comply with election security measures concerning ballot security and accountability.
• Provided the ability to search and view all ballot images.
• Implemented a new e-pollbook system with better controls alongside a new voter registration system.
• Conducted a cyber- and physical-security assessment of election offices.

Early vote results will be released at 7 p.m. on election night, Nov. 5, with election day results released at 9 p.m. and updated in batches every hour on the hour.
