Tarrant County extends request for affordable housing proposals to June 16

The deadline to respond to Tarrant County’s Request for Proposals for Affordable Housing Development has been extended to 5 p.m. on June 16, 2023.

The request for proposals is part of Tarrant County’s program utilizing funding from the American Recuse Plan Act (ARPA) State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF).

Each proposal will be reviewed for ARPA eligibility and scored for alignment with multiple priorities. To encourage broader community partnerships and leverage its federal funding, Tarrant County is seeking a minimum contribution of 25% in matching funds and will prioritize projects with a 40% or higher match contribution.

The Tarrant County Commissioners Court will be responsible for final project selection and approval. More information can be found here.
