WEDDING INFORMATION

Appointments are not required but are recommended to ensure availability. You may schedule an appointment in person or by phone by calling 817-548-3925.

-    You must bring your marriage license and the $100 fee in cash only

-    There is a limit of 25 guests

-    Your entire party must arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time; otherwise, you may have to reschedule

-    Incomplete parties will not be checked in and will have longer wait time

       -   Due to the large number of weddings scheduled at this location, especially on Fridays, your actual wedding time may be later than your appointment time

       -   Parties are placed in order by check in time and not by your scheduled appointment time

               -    Please refrain from asking clerks how much longer until your party is called into the courtroom, as the judge keeps her own list and performs weddings in the order that they are checked in

-    Once parties are checked in and let into the waiting room, absolutely no additional guests may be allowed in…no exceptions

        -    In order for a guest to be allowed in after a wedding party has checked in, the ENTIRE wedding party must exit the waiting room and move to the end of the check in line

-    Once your party is in the waiting room, please remain respectful of other weddings that are currently being performed in the courtroom by keeping noise to a minimum

-    You will receive your marriage license from the County Clerk’s office 2-4 weeks after your wedding

        -    Any questions regarding the time frame or status of your marriage license being sent to you must be directed to the County Clerk’s office for the county that printed your marriage license
