Media Advisory: Tarrant County Elections holds Public Test on September 16

Tarrant County Elections invites the public to participate in a test of the County’s voting system ahead of the November 2024 elections.

Next week, Tarrant County Elections is conducting public testing of the voting system, as required by law. As was done previously, the public can take part in the validation process of the voting equipment on Monday, September 16, 2024.

Both machine and hand-marked ballots will be available. These ballots will have the same races and propositions as will appear on the November 2024 ballot, but these ballots will ONLY be used to validate the results produced by the machines.  None of the votes cast on Monday will have any effect on the election.

The public test will take place on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 8 a.m. at 3333 Quorum Drive, Suite 280, Fort Worth, TX 76137. Note: This is different location than the main Tarrant County Elections Office.
